SAL7546.  4/28/86.  S. juglandifolium.  Quebrada La Buena, Jardin.   1,900 m.  Km 400 = 6 Km above Jardin.  Dueno: Alejandro Velez.  Large population of indetermined sized along beautiful stream where Orlando encountered them in December while swimming.  Roots near stream and climbing up bank and into trees and shrubs.  Typical juglandifolium except fruits = smaller  and full of rather tiny seeds +/- peruvianum size.  Collected fruits from 5 plants, rest not ripe.  Associated with many different plants: many melastomes, Malphigiaceae, Rubus, and undetermined shrubs, Piperaceae.  So heavily laden with fruits that rather few flowers open.  Is not conspicuous.  All 2 locules.  Several shots: close-up on plant, on rock, habit and habitat = at 5pm getting dark.  No local name.  Considered poisonous.
