Cotyledons and new leaves very pale green under greenhouse conditions. Veins in both darker, imparting a peculiar reticulate appearance. Leaf margin ragged. Growth greatly retarded. Under midsummer field conditions growth rate almost normal and leaves nearly normal in color and shape. Highly pollen sterile, yet can be selfed and crossed. Segregation ratios always deficient for rv. |
